Aamir Khan teams up with Lokesh Kanagaraj for Pan-India film

Rumors are that Aamir Khan is in discussions with talented director Lokesh Kanagaraj for an upcoming film. According to the latest news shared by Kannada-language Telugu portal Aakashavaani, the Bollywood superstar is really eager to work with Kanagaraj in a pan-India film. The last time the audience saw Aamir was in Laal Singh Chaddha, which was released in 2022.

The news came from the verified official X account of Aakashavaani, which carried the headline: “BIG BREAKING—A Mindblowing Combo!! #AamirKhan, #LokeshKanagaraj, and #MythriMovies are joining hands for a pan-India film soon. As per our sources, the film is CONFIRMED. ”

Other information leads to the understanding that Aamir, Lokesh, and Mythri Movies are in the pre-production stage, and depending on how they manage their process, they are likely to make an announcement soon.

The news has caused exciting reactions among the fans. One said, “AAMIR COME BACK. Atlee x SRK, Vanga x Ranbir, and now Lokesh x Aamir!” Another commented, “Comeback loading!” There was also this comment: “This is a good move. Lokesh taking the Atlee route. ”

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s most recent movie, Leo, starring Vijay, was his third movie in the LCU, which stands for Lokesh Cinematic Universe. The films produced by him earlier than Kollywood are Maanagaram, Kaithi, and Vikram. At the moment, he is shooting for Coolie, his forthcoming film.

In the meantime, Aamir recently produced his ex-wife Kiran Rao’s film Laapataa Ladies, which was on the issue of gender sensitization. The movie was specially released by the Supreme Court of India on August 9, 2018, with Aamir Khan present there as KIrin Rao, as put on her Instagram stories.
