Actor Sahil Khan arrested in Mahadev betting app case; Mumbai police investigation intensifies

Sahil Khan, an actor and business entrepreneur, is in the police lock-up today for the online Mahadev gambling racket scandal. The arrest was conducted in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, on the 4th of November, 2022, after which Khan was taken to Mumbai.

Dilip Kumar’s link to ‘The Lion Book App,’ a betting app listed as part of the accused Mahadev betting apps network, has been noticed. Earlier, the undercover officer was cross-questioned by the Mumbai Police SIT concerning the case.

The court dismissed his anticipatory bail and arrested him only after completing the trial.

Through the statement, ‘Mumbai gives me a lot of hopes for justice,’ Sahil Khan shows his trust in the Indian justice system.

As the co-owner of “The Lotus Book App,” she demonstrates expertise in software creation. Interestingly, he induced the platform’s promotion actively, took part in the events, for instance, and even initiated “Lotus Book 24/7′ as an associate.

The Mumbai Police SIT is thorough and determined with the probe into illicit transactions, either untoward financial or real estate enterprises out of Maharashtra or the promoters of the Mahadev betting app.

Alongside Khan, 31 other persons, Saurabh Chandrakar and Ravi Upal, are now viewed suspiciously. The investigation includes an inspection of the accounts of the bank, as well as computers, mobile phones, and other technical gear used by the suspects.

Sahil Khan (known as the hero of movies such as ‘Style’ and ‘Excuse Me’ ) is also striking as a fitness trainer.

A man has been arrested, and the police are continuing the investigation. The approximate value of the scam, mentioned in the FIR, is no less than Rs. 15,000 crore, state reports.
