Aditya Roy Kapur and Samantha Prabhu team up for Rakt Bramhand

Aditya Roy Kapur and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are set to collaborate on the highly anticipated project Rakt Bramhand: The Bloody Kingdom of Mumbai after hectic schedules of their routine life. Kapur is currently preparing for his upcoming film Metro In Dino alongside Sara Ali Khan, while Prabhu recently wrapped up filming the Indian spy-action series Citadel: It’s Honey Bunny time with Varun Dhawan.

Looking forward to going back to the set, Samantha expressed her joy through the social platform, posting a picture that includes the name Samantha, a pencil, a passport-like book that is in the vanity van, a coffee mug, and a sleep oil. This caption was taken from her Instagram account in hopes of never letting go of our dreams. She is happy to be back on the set after some time shooting films. #Raktbrahmand @d2r_films.”

The series, directed by Rahi Anil Barve, known for making Tumbbad, and produced by Raj & DK of The Family Man fame under the banner of D2R Films, has gone official. Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi are also featured in the cast.

Per a source from Mid-Day, Rakt Bramhand is Raj and DK’s first action-fantasy film set in a fictional kingdom. The crew is now shooting some impressive action scenes with the star cast at Bahubali Studio in Borivali.

The crew will have a 10-day rest before joining in October. The series will likely air until February 2025. Earlier this year, Netflix announced Rakt Bramhand: As its opening action-fantasy series, it is known as The Bloody Kingdom.
