Alaya F Reflects on ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ Box Office Performance.
Rising star Alaya F, who played a key role in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan‘, has opened up on the film’s underwhelming box office collections. In an interview with News18, the actor stated the failure did not bother her personally.
The big-budget action entertainer could not recreate the magic at cinemas, featuring a high-profile cast including Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Manushi Chhillar. However, Alaya feels she benefitted through wider audience reach and exposure.
“For a massy potboiler, critical acclaim isn’t paramount. Audience response ultimately decides its fate,” she reflected pragmatically on mixed viewer reactions.
On her character, Alaya shared that it evoked polarizing views among some as being very irritating rather than endearing. She stood by her creative choices for the role despite certain scenes appearing differently post-editing.
“I gave it my all and did what I felt was best. As actors, we have control only over our performance,” the talented newcomer remarked philosophically.
This film marked her second big screen outing after debuting impressively in ‘Jawaani Jaaneman.’ Industry observers will watch her career graph keenly as we advance.
For now, Alaya maintains a positive mindset, taking the valuable experience in her stride as she prepares for future onscreen challenges.
