Alia Bhatt’s “Jigra” set for October release amid excitement

The second half of the year 2024 is expected to be quite eventful for lovers of movies as several films are expected to be released. One of them is “Jigra”, which features Alia Bhatt, whose new poster was released on Thursday, showing a glimpse of her look in this Vasan Bala directorial. The film also includes Vedang Raina, with whom people may familiarize themselves through his portrayal in the movie “The Archies. ”

In the recently unveiled eye-popping poster, there is a mysterious look on Alia’s face as if she is lost in the distant view, she looks even more tomboyish wearing formal running pants, a torn-up shirt, and a survival belt. She is ready for something with a hammer and other tools as accessories for her role.

They are also interactive and funny; her caption, for example, was, “Kahaani bahut lambi hai aur bhai ke paas waqt bahut bahut kam,” which translates to “The story is too long, but the time my brother has is very limited.” The fans also commented on the post, with many of them positively reacting to the poster, with some of the reactions being “Wow, simply fantastic Alia. . cannot wait,” Janhvi Kapoor reacting with fire emojis and one of the fans famously said “Wow, another poster!! It’s just wow!! Now waiting for the teaser. .. “

Earlier that day, Alia had posted a Vedang poster; the text on the poster in Hindi said, “tu mere protection mein hai,” in English translation is “you are under my protection”.

In February, the shooting of “Jigra” was complete, and Alia posted some behind-the-scenes photos. The film is made under the banners of Dharma Productions and her own production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions. Board of directors: Vasan Bala, who directed Monica O My Darling, and Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, who worked with the actress for the first time on this project.

Released in the northern autumn of September 2023, “Jigra” demonstrates deep-souled sisterly love with a focus on the protagonist’s desire of wanting to save her brother. It is Vedang’s second project after working on Zoya Akhtar’s “The Archies. ”

In June, the release date for “Jigra” was shifted to October 11, 2024, moving from its original date of September 27, following the announcement of the release date for Jr NTR’s much-anticipated film “Devara: Figure 2: Part 1.
