As expected, the first song from the upcoming series is revealed, and it is called ‘Call Me Bae’. The track ‘Vekh Sohneyaa’ is out now; it captures the audiences with the journey of the character Bella, portrayed by Ananya Panday, in the journey of self-discovery and love in the city of dreams.
The video starts with Ananya’s character, Bella, arriving at a newsroom during a busy time and thus beginning the adventure. That is where she gets acquainted with Gurfateh Pirzada’s character, and the two start bonding well, as evident in their jovial selfie shots. The narrative then leads the audience to another unplanned meeting of the two at a colourful party that establishes their compatibility.
‘Vekh Sohneyaa’, a beautiful romantic track, is beautifully sung by Charan and Bombay the Artist, while the lyrics, which are soft and understandable, add to the beauty of their romantic scenes. Bollywood actress Ananya Panday, who appears to have landed into the skin of playing Bella, said that she was ecstatic about the track, saying,
“The audience response to the trailer has been tremendous, and to be a part of Bella and the series now, I couldn’t be happier. As soon as I heard ‘Vekh Sohneyaa,’ it resonated with me, the feeling hasn’t ceased, it has been looping in my playlist.

Other than Ananya, Call Me Bae includes other main cast members: Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, and Muskkaan Jaferi. Created by Dharmatic Entertainment, this streaming series has been produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra. Collin D’Cunha directed it, and it will be available on Prime Video from September 6.
