Now, Bista has plunged into the tiny screen to star in the awaited web series Call Me Bae with Ananya Panday. The show has been in anticipation for quite some time now, and the makers recently revealed the actress’s first-look poster and released the trailer’s date, August 20. The series looks set to kick off and stream on Prime Video on September 6.
The poster that Prime Video has posted and used features Ananya as elegant and glamorous, and the tagline ‘Fun, Glamorous, Drama’ draws people to watch the show. Ananya, in particular, portrays Bella “Bae” Chowdhary as a chic heiress who is becoming a hustler and learns that she has more of her skills in street and fashion. In the upcoming trailer, the viewers will be introduced to some of those friends and lovers and how they make Bae’s life a not-so-simple one.
Saira and Tammarrah are best friends of Bae Varun Sood plays Prince, Gurtej Pirzada plays as Neel, and Vihaan Samat plays Agastya Chowdhary, while the popular comedian Vir Das is Bae’s boss, Satyajit Sen.
In their personal life, Ananya recently faced a split with the actor of Bollywood, Aditya Roy Kapur. Having embraced the fact that she is single, she has adopted the theme of living life to the fullest.
Earlier, Ananya earned praise from critics and the audience for her performance as Ahana in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav. Apart from Call Me Bae, she will also be seen in Shankara and Vikramaditya Motwane’s Control.
