Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan eyes ₹100 crore club globally.
The action entertainer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, featuring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in lead roles, is inching closer towards joining the prestigious ₹100 crore club worldwide. As per information shared by the film’s production house, the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial has grossed ₹96.18 crore globally since releasing on April 11 during the Eid weekend.
Domestically, the film collected an estimated ₹9.05 crore on its fourth day, as per box office tracking portal Sacnilk.com. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was released alongside Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan, facing competition at ticket counters.
Described as a larger-than-life, commercial action entertainer in the vein of Hollywood’s ‘Bad Boys franchise, BMCBM stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as the villain alongside heroines Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F. While the high-octane face-offs between its two leading men Akshay and Tiger are impressing audiences, Prithviraj is receiving praise for his menacing role.
Recently, the film’s production house debunked rumours surrounding inaccurate claims of a bomb explosion shown at a religious site in the film. Through a statement, the producers clarified that the sequence occurs at a nuclear facility without relation to any actual place of worship. They reaffirmed their commitment to respecting all faiths and sensitivities.
This clarification is aimed at allowing viewers to enjoy the entertainer without unnecessary doubt while Akshay and Tiger celebrate their film’s inching closer to landmark box office status worldwide.
