There have been speculations about rapper Badshah and actress Tara Sutaria being in a romantic affair, following a light moment on popular show Indian Idol 15. In a recent viral social media video, Shilpa Shetty gave a hint about the feelings of the singer by saying that Badshah has been thinking about Tara since she paid a visit to the show recently.
During the episode, Shilpa mocked Badshah in a light-hearted way, saying, “Badshah, I’ve heard you are gazing at stars during the day—i.e., Tara. We are partying for the 90s, and I have a song that reminds me of you: ‘Tan tana tan tan tan Tara. Chalti hai kya 9 se 12?’ Why are you blushing?” Badshah looked surprised and embarrassed by the remark.
While Mika Singh appeared to be shocked by Shilpa’s teasing, Shreya Ghoshal eventually caught on, and Vishal Dadlani soon caught on too to the connection being made between Badshah and Tara’s recent dialogues.
The video has also gone viral on platforms like Reddit, where comments have been storming in. Everyone from the viewers has commented with a mix of opinions, with one of them saying, “He is nice, talented, and reasonably successful. Why not?” Another said, “It’s just reality show gimmicks.” Others questioned it, with one of them saying, “As usual, everything is scripted, even this,” and another saying, “Are Badshah and Tara Sutaria a thing now?”
Tara Sutaria was once in a relationship with Aadar Jain, but the two ended things in November 2023. The reasons for their breakup are still unknown. At some point last year, Aadar married Alekha Advani, a friend from childhood. During his wedding speech, he referred to his relationship with Tara as “timepass.” Rumors have circulated ever since that Tara has been dating Arunoday Singh, but this is simply speculation.
