In a disturbing turn of events, prominent Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh has been the target of a harrowing death threat, with the caller allegedly demanding a staggering sum of Rs 50 lakh. The actress has promptly filed a police complaint, setting in motion an investigation into the troubling incident.
According to the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Danapur-1, Bhanu Pratap Singh, Akshara Singh lodged a written complaint, stating that she had received threat calls from two different numbers on Monday.
The caller, whose identity remains unknown, not only verbally abused the actress but also threatened to take her life if the demanded amount was not paid within two days.
The caller abused her, demanded ₹50 lakh, and threatened to kill her if she did not pay the money within two days. We immediately brought the matter to the notice of the local police station.”
The Station House Officer of Danapur police station, Prashant Bhardwaj, corroborated the details provided in Akshara’s complaint, stating that the actress had claimed the caller had demanded the hefty sum of money.
Akshara Singh, known for her versatile performances in films like Satyamev Jayate, A Balma Bihar Wala, and Satya, has emerged as one of the highest-paid actresses in the Bhojpuri film industry.
