Jennie of BLACKPINK unveils solo single ‘Mantra’ ahead of October release.
Popular K-pop star Jennie Chan of BLACKPINK treated fans to an exciting update by announcing her upcoming solo single ‘Mantra’.
Slated for release on October 11, Jennie shared a flirty teaser for the track on social media. With playful lyrics and wink, the clip offers a glimpse of the fun, confident energy associated with the artist.
The announcement comes after Jennie signed a new deal with Columbia Records last month for her label Odd Atelier. Formed to allow exploring talents apart from BLACKPINK, the label also partnered with Columbia recently.
‘Mantra’ follows Jennie’s previous solo release ‘You & Me’ and collaborations like ‘One of the Girls’ last year. She had also worked with artists like Matt Champion and Zico on different tracks in 2022.
Debuting her solo career in 2018, ‘Solo’ met instant success cementing her popularity. As BLACKPINK members focus on solo projects, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé have also made headlines with new singles and films.
