On the latest update, Bollywood producer Ramesh Taurani has cleared the confusion regarding the current Telugu actress Sreeleela’s casting in Varun Dhawan’s comedy movie. Taurani, who is visibly producing the project, has been vocal and clear that the lady in question was never an actress in his new film.
When Taurani was asked about the film’s particulars, he said, “We have not approached anybody for the role until this date. We have completed the first schedule and are yet to finalize the actor for that particular role. The news already circulating in the media is false. We request the audience not to go by the rumours until we make an official announcement.
The producer also wanted to clarify that this gossip about giving Sreeleela the opportunity to play the role wasn’t final yet. ‘We were just thinking of casting her for the role,’ quipped Taurani, thus nullifying the rumours.
Reports emerged this week that Sreeleela had dumped the film, which gave people something to think about concerning the female lead. However, through the mouth of Taurani, those rumours have now been buried.
The upcoming comedy film will be Varun Dhawan’s third film working under his father, director and wizard David Dhawan. The producers have already shot the first schedule of the movie and are planning the rest of the cast.
Taurani made the audience wait for the team’s official launch, as they have yet to finalise the female lead for the film project. Fans of Varun Dhawan and comedies of the ‘Dhawan family’ can expect regular updates on the events on the set.
