Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s foray into politics gave her a winning start. She was elected to the Himachal Pradesh Mandi Constituency, where she had to win a seat from Congress leader Vikramaditya Singh. This has brought joy among her fans, and some of her biggest supporters include noted Bollywood actor Anupam Kher.
Celebrating her victory, an associate of Ranaut Anupam Kher took to Twitter support to express his satisfaction with her success. Expressing the joy on Instagram, Kher described the diva as the ‘rockstar’ she is and has deservedly become, not to mention her phenomenal story. The Twitter user said, “Your journey is so inspirational! So happy for you and the people of #Mandi and #HimachalPradesh. You have proved time and again that if one is focused and works hard, तो “कुछ भी हो सकता है”!”
And however, the actress and an enthusiastic activist of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Kangana Ranaut, thanked Kher in the comments section, for words said, writing “Bahut Dhanyvad Anupam ji 🥰🙏💐.”
A report by the Election Commission of India revealed that Ranaut had an easy ride to victory by(outfile) antagonizing Congress rival Vikramaditya Singh, son of ex-Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, with 74,755 votes.
At the same time, in the neighboring state of Uttar Pradesh, veteran actress Hema Malini has again been victorious in the Mathura constituency and, hence, has won her third consecutive term of being a Member of Parliament. His daughter, Esha Deol of actress’s, has congratulated Hema Malini on this occasion by using Instagram and said, “Congratulations, mamma Your victory is a Hat trick.”
It would also be pertinent to note Hema Malini’s recent success in Mathura as the success indicator among the targeted constituents. She has participated in Lok Sabha elections twice—in 2014 and 2019—and has been victorious in both elections; her latest victory has ensured that she remains one of the politically influential personalities in the region.
The success stories of Kangana Ranaut and Hema Malini have also proved that Bollywood personalities are now rising to political positions in modern-day India and have the ability to influence the public and get them to vote.
