Katrina talks about deleted role from Ranbir’s famous romance film

In a revealing interview, actress Katrina Kaif has spoken about an unseen aspect of her career. The talented star shared that she was initially cast in the 2008 blockbuster Bachna Ae Haseeno, but her part eventually ended up on the editing room floor.

During a chat with a leading entertainment portal, Katrina stated she had been signed on to play the film’s fourth female lead. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the rom-com featured Ranbir Kapoor romancing Deepika Padukone, Bipasha Basu, and Minissha Lamba in pivotal roles.

However, sometime during production, her character was written out of the script. Katrina Kaif says:

“I was excited for fans to see my part, but some decisions are beyond our control,”

It’s no secret that during the movie’s shoot, rumors were rife about the blossoming romance between Ranbir and Deepika off-screen. Though their relationship later fizzled out.

Fans recall Katrina then collaborated with Ranbir on several hits, fueling whispers about their alleged real-life bond. While careers evolve, it’s intriguing to ponder roles lost to the march of time. Katrina’s revelation affords audiences a rare peek ‘behind the scenes.’
