Popular actor Ranveer Singh will play the role of the Indian superhero Shaktimaan in a new movie directed by Basil Joseph. Reports say filming will start in May next year with plans to release the movie in 2026.
Before working on this project, Ranveer will first finish shooting for the movie Don 3 directed by Farhan Akhtar. The previous Don movies starred famous actor Shah Rukh Khan.
Ranveer taking on the lead role marks a change for the franchise.
