Recently, Cardi B made headlines by seemingly accusing her estranged husband and his mother, Latabia Woodward, of “robbing” her-though whatever she meant by that is not quite clear. She also said that Offset had not bought any gifts for their three children: Kulture, Wave, and their newborn daughter, while he reportedly shopped for gifts for his other children during a recent trip to New York City.
In an X Spaces live session, Cardi let it all out: “You just called your daughter for the first time this year, your newborn. You love your kids so much and you didn’t buy them st for Christmas. But you came to New York to buy your other kids gifts. But you didn’t buy my kids st on purpose to spite me.” She then made it clear that though separated, they had remained in good terms, imploring Offset to cease the games.
Cardi further revealed her internal struggle, admitting she had not been able to even celebrate her own success due to issues with Offset’s personal life. “I could really ruin people’s whole life,” Cardi said, adding that she knew that the situation would balance itself out on its own. She referenced God above. She made it clear that she was no longer affected by Offset’s perceived attempts to provoke her into reacting publicly.
She said she was angry because he made it seem like she was being competitive, and the reason he didn’t want to just finish up the divorce was so that he could be around through the kids. Cardi expressed how Offset would try to get under her skin yet keep a cool exterior, adding this to the list of what she saw as his greater plan.
Even after filing for divorce in 2020 and seeking custody of her daughter Kulture, the divorce settlement has not been resolved yet.
