CBFC orders cuts in Tiger-Akshay starrer ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’.
The much-awaited action entertainer ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ has received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification. As per reports, the censor board has directed certain modifications to the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial before its planned theatrical release next week.
CBFC reportedly requested blurring of 14 seconds of footage from three scenes. One scene was trimmed by 19 seconds while the name of a brand was replaced in another.
A disclaimer was also inserted in a sequence depicting liquor consumption. The makers provided clarification on the use of armed forces’ signs and symbols.
Starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in titular roles, the film was shot extensively on locations like Mumbai, London and Amman.
Prithviraj Sukumaran essays the antagonist with Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F in supporting roles.
Bankrolled by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani and Himanshu Kishan Mehra, the big-budget action drama is set for its Eid weekend release.
It will face box-office clash with Ajay Devgn‘s period sports film ‘Maidaan’ poised to hit theatres the same day.
