Dalljiet Kaur and Nikhil Patel’s marital conflict escalates

The current spousal violence story involving Bollywood actress Dalljiet Kaur and her husband Nikhil Patel has attracted many followers, and several stories have been told with different spins.

In the recent past, Nikhil accused Dalljiet of arguing with him incessantly, even when he sought to mend the issue. But Dalljiet has outright denied the allegations and even condemned him for demeaning their wedding as an ‘event’ instead of ‘marriage’.

To these barbs, Dalljiet fired back and asked Nikhil whether it was proper to ‘run away from India’ when the police kept insisting on him to come and visit them. She accused him of deploying PR stories when he could have come out and faced the authorities.

To reject Nikhil’s assertion that they had an ’Illegal’ wedding, Dalljiet deemed him for deeming their wedding simply an ‘event’. According to the laws of India, it is known as a ‘MARRIAGE’ irrespective of the fact that Nikhil is a Non-Resident Indian.

During the interview, Nikhil denied that his wedding to Dalljiet was ‘legal’ and further accused Dalljiet of playing the victim. He also accused Dalljiet of subjecting him to considerable distress by pulling out their son from school.

The increasingly bitter fights between the now-separated couple have again brought to the fore the ordeal that people going through a marital crisis, including those in the limelight, undergo.
