Dalljiet Kaur shares update on separation case against estranged husband

Recently, Bollywood actress Dalljiet Kaur posted an update on her legal battle through social media regarding her legal separation from her estranged husband, Nikhil Patel, in the Kenyan courts. But the actress cut short the rant by quickly deleting it.

In the detailed note, Dalljiet, who arrived in India in January 2024 from Kenya, explained, ‘Today was my court hearing in Kenya. For all those who want to know what’s going on. His lawyers are only proving one point to the judge: that there was no wedding. While lodging the FIR, the Indian Police told me traditions with witnesses were enough to put him behind bars if he refused marriage.

In her anger, Dalljiet also wrote: Let’s see what happens, but shame on him and his family for refusing that there was a wedding @WATUKENYA your top leaders attended cultural event? Did none of you invite a wife to all the gatherings at your place? Or was I a mistress being invited?

However, even after erasing the Instagram story, Dalljiet’s remarks provoked discussions on social networks – the fans who like to ‘ ‘capture’ ‘ screenshots and share them on networks. In the post, the actress succeeds in informing the public that her ex-husband excels in playing with words, but she does not. She also said she was deeply embarrassed to be part of the Patel name.

A while earlier, on Nikhil’s birthday, August 2, Dalljiet posted about her ‘tears not stopping’ as she saw Nikhil in India with his alleged girlfriend. She also lodged an FIR against him.

Dalljiet and Nikhil’s legal fight has become a public interest, and people have been looking forward to the verdict from the Kenyan courts. Indeed, as the situation remains complicated for the actress, she has found allies who do not plan to leave her alone.
