Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on Sunday according to reports. The baby was reportedly born at Mumbai’s HN Reliance hospital.
While an official statement from the couple is awaited, reports state the newborn is healthy. Deepika and Ranveer, along with family members, were seen arriving at the hospital amid tight security on Sunday.
Days prior, the couple was spotted seeking blessings at Siddhivinayak Temple with Deepika flaunting her baby bump in a traditional attire.
Deepika and Ranveer had announced Deepika’s pregnancy in February via social media, sharing pictures from their maternity shoot.
Married since 2018, the duo is said to be moving to their new high-rise apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra next to SRK’s Mannat once completion.
While Deepika plans to return to work in 2025, Ranveer will be seen in projects like Aditya Dhar’s action film and Don 3. Their fans have flooded social media with congratulatory messages for the new parents.
