The post-apocalyptic action film Kalki 2898 AD has gone on to remain a hot favorite at the box office, and now the film’s leading lady, Disha Patani, has taken to social media to express her thanks.
Despite such discretions in the film, Patani applauded Nag Ashwin for his great imagination, which crafted this ‘Crazy sci-fi world’ without disturbing Indian history and science. She expressed, “Thank you so much, @nag_ashwin, for building this bonkers Sci-fi universe so aesthetically & weaving Indian history and science together. You are an absolute creative God.”
She also commended Prabhas as her co-star for being the best and sweetest she has ever been and said he looked after everyone while filming the movie. “It was a privilege to work with you, @actorprabhas, the sweetest co-star anyone could ever ask for and such a good caretaker,” Patani said excitedly.
For her part, Patani took her time to thank actresses of her ilk who never grab the limelight but are the real producers, pointing at producers Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt Chalasani, who she credited for making the movie a reality. The actress further congratulating the showrunners, Priyanaka Dutt and Swapna Dutt Chalasani said, “Shout out to the women in charge @priyankacdutt @swapnaduttchalasani for bringing it to life, you guys are inspirational.”
The last remark of Patani was the expression of her heartfelt gratitude for being a part of the ‘legendary cast,’ along with the acknowledgment of her team that worked hard to develop her Roxie character. She wrote,
“It was an honor to bag a role in this great cast; my hats off to the team who put their best efforts into presenting this show; all the hard work spent sleepless nights is appreciated. And last but not least, my team D, who put their heart and soul into Roxie, thank you for giving me this wonderful opportunity.”
Among them, the new drama “Kalki 2898 AD,” which highlights the combination of the Hindu epic Mahabharata story and science fiction, has been getting applause for itself and its industry. This film was released globally on June 27 in various languages, and Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Saswata Chatterjee, and Shobhana are also in the cast.
