Disha Patani shines at Kanguva audio launch with Suriya

Disha Patani is in the news these days as she is busy promoting her upcoming Tamil film, Kanguva, opposite the popular actor Suriya. During an audio launch event in Chennai, Suriya praised the actress, revealing her popularity among the fans.

The event was graced by the entire cast and crew of Kanguva, including Suriya, Disha Patani, and Bobby Deol. Ever since the teaser and singles of the film dropped, the audiences have been responding positively. When Disha came onto the stage, the crowd erupted into applause, something that did not escape the actor Suriya.

Addressing Disha, Suriya said, “You have the maximum whistles in this function. The Chennai audience is excited to see you here.” He thanked the audience for their encouragement, saying, “Thank you for all the love given to this movie.” According to reports, many Disha Patani fans attended the function.

Kanguva is written by Siva and Adhi Narayana, apart from being helmed by Siva. The film stars Suriya in the titular role alongside Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, and Yogi Babu.

Produced under the banners of Studio Green and UV Creations, presented by K E Gnanavel Raja, V Vamsi Krishna Reddy, and Pramod Uppalapati, the film has a soundtrack by Devi Sri Prasad. At the same time, Vetri Palanisamy handles the cinematography, and Nishadh Yusuf handles the editing.

Kanguva will hit the theatres on November 14th. The much-anticipated big-budgeted movie is believed to be one of the most expensive Indian movies ever, supposedly made on a budget ranging from ₹300 to ₹350 crore. It will be released in standard and 3D formats. A special cameo by Anirudh Ravichander features in its second single, “Yolo.”
