Do Patti, starring Kajol and Kriti Sanon, is all geared up for its Netflix release on October 25. Ahead of the film’s release, writer-producer Kanika Dhillon, also founder of Kathha Pictures, hosted an opulent evening last night. The evening also saw the presence of several eminent guests like Kriti Sanon, Taapsee Pannu, Kusha Kapila, and Rupali Ganguly, which added more glamour to the night.
The event began with Kanika sharing a picture alongside Kriti, looking stunning in attire- a flowy chic dress in orange and blue hues- embracing her fit bodice and noodle straps. Kanika looked elegant in a black saree, which she paired with a puff-sleeved blouse, and both were at their happiest while posing for pictures together. Kriti is also the producer of Do Patti.
The celebration didn’t get over here as Kanika later posed with Taapsee Pannu, who sported a cute powder-blue mini dress with enchanting bow details. Next came the writer-producer with Smriti Kiran, the show co-host-and then with Kusha Kapila, who was forever stylish in her graphic bodycon dress. Not to mention, Rupali Ganguly, the heroine of Anupamaa, was present in a fetching red suit set paired perfectly with a matching colored Banarasi dupatta.
In the photo carousel, Kanika captioned it on social media, “Spirited Soirée – Part 1. Last night was a living, breathing version of everything I have believed: when women come together, magic unfolds! A big cheer goes out to these incredible women who are telling remarkable stories in their own unique ways. Special thanks to @smritikiran for cohosting with such love and support. You are a rockstar. See you at the movies with #DoPatti #KathhaPictures #BlueButterflyFilms.
Other well-known film personalities, including Tisca Chopra, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Parul Gulati, Sanjana Sanghi, and Nitanshi Goel, graced the event. Do Patti weaves an exciting story of twin sisters Saumya and Shailee, played by Kriti Sanon, with an efficient police officer, Vidya Jyoti Kanwar, played by Kajol.
The movie is based on an attempted murder case with lots of mystery. It marks the second outing between Kriti and Kajol after their successful film Dilwale and also the Hindi film debut of Shaheer Sheikh. Helmed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, Do Patti promises to keep the audience hooked with its suspense narrative.
