After emerging as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Elvish Yadav is all set to return to television. As per reports, the internet sensation will display his cooking skills in the second season of Laughter Chefs. If reports by Pinkvilla are anything to go by, then Elvish will be seen as one of the contestants on the celebrity cooking show.
Elvish isn’t the only fresh face which is expected to grace the forthcoming season. Telly Chakkar reports that Rubina Dilaik and Abdu Rozik, too, will be part of Laughter Chefs 2. As per reports, Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat is also in talks with the producers.
The first season of Laughter Chefs had Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Arjun Bijlani, Krushna Abhishek, Karan Kundrra, Nia Sharma, Jannat Zubair Rahmani, Reem Shaikh, Sudesh Lehri, and Kashmera Shah. This time though, it looks like only Krushna Abhishek and Sudesh Lehri are returning for the second season, while all the other actors have left the show.
The first season of Laughter Chefs, which aired early this year, rapidly shot to become one of the most-watched entertainment shows on television. Hosted by comedian Bharti Singh and celebrity chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, the show featured a number of Bollywood stars such as Kangana Ranaut, Shraddha Kapoor, and Akshay Kumar, who appeared to promote their films.
Laughter Chefs finished airing its first season in October; Nia Sharma recently posted about the experience on the sets. She labeled the show as “nicest time ever” as she remembered the fun she shared with the co-participants when celebrating at the home of Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain in Mumbai city. Her caption read, “This is Us, ViBe: Pure goals. Laughterchefs.”. Probably the nicest time ever on a set. Onscreen and offscreen, it was only love and laughter throughout.”
