Emraan Hashmi opens up about ending a long-standing feud with Mallika Sherawat.
Actor Emraan Hashmi recently spoke about putting an end to his feud with co-star Mallika Sherawat that had lasted nearly two decades. The actors, known for their sizzling on-screen chemistry in Murder (2004), crossed paths after a long time at a wedding reception earlier this year.
During an interview with a publication, Hashmi said it was warm to see Sherawat again after such a long interval since their acclaimed film. He acknowledged that when they were younger, things were said in the heat of the moment due to limited experience and impulse.
Hashmi remarked how nice it was to see Sherawat after burying the past. Sherawat too had termed their misunderstanding as silly in a previous interview.
In 2021, Sherawat reminisced about ego clashes with co-stars during her career, including a funny instance with Hashmi during Murder promotions. She called him a wonderful co-actor.
Their chance encounter seems to have helped the former co-stars end animosity from their early careers. Hashmi expressed a desire to work with Sherawat again, suggesting they have moved past differences from their debut and see each other in a friendly light now.
