Gigi Hadid turned heads on the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway in a sultry pink silk number and dramatic angel wings. She looked simply the definition of chic glamour.
She was lifted onto the runway on a small platform that wasn’t too dissimilar to being escorted into a theatre. The supermodel welcomed the audience into her world with an open-armed gesture before she began to walk and blew kisses. Gigi opened the show, reminding everyone of her undeniably compelling presence.
Her flair of entrance was borrowed from one of her best friends, Taylor Swift, who is known for such interactions with fans on her tours. Pre-show, Gigi had teased Entertainment Tonight, “There’s something on the runway tonight that is new for at least me. I learned this from Taylor during her rehearsals, and now I’m bringing it to life tonight.”.
Gigi was wearing pink silk lingerie that balanced out her angel wings. She finished the ensemble with extra-large diamond pink hoop earrings and a slicked-back hairstyle. Her makeup was taken to another level, reminiscent of the glamorous Barbie, with soft pink blush and gloss nude lipstick.
And the best part? She let slip that she’ll be strutting her stuff on the runway with little sister Bella Hadid for the first time since 2018. Gigi first hit the Victoria’s Secret runway back in 2015.
This year’s show held more special significance for both long-time and new fans alike, as it marked the return of the iconic event after a six-year hiatus.
