Veteran actor Govinda’s presence at his niece Arti Singh’s wedding celebrations came as a surprise, bringing closure to his long-running rift with Krushna Abhishek’s family. Krushna’s wife Kashmera Shah, who voiced hopes of reconciliation, has now spoken about her positive interaction with Govinda on the occasion. She mentioned welcoming guests alone when he arrived while Krushna conversed with the bride Arti.
According to Kashmera, though she wished to seek his blessings, Govinda averted her gesture and instead blessed her family’s well-being and happiness. The thespian has been estranged from Krushna and Kashmera for years owing to a soured relationship.
She expressed delight at Govinda breaking the ice and meeting her children, embracing them before leaving. The actress considers him family’s elder and was overjoyed at the reconciliation step.
Krushna too became emotional seeing Govinda grace the celebrations. Visuals later showed the superstar greeting media warmly on departing the reception.
After skipping pre-wedding rituals, his presence united all. Kashmera described it as a surreal experience, terming the forgiveness a closure to unpleasant past phases with optimism.
