Heidi Klum, daughter Leni’s lingerie campaign sparks debate.
A lingerie brand collaboration between supermodel Heidi Klum and her daughter Leni has divided opinions with some finding their joint campaign inappropriate.
Klum recently shared pictures and a video from Intimissimi’s Fall-Winter collection featuring the mother-daughter duo posing in lace bras and undies.
She wrote about having fun shooting with 20-year-old Leni for billboards and TV ads in Germany for the “empowering, stylish collection”.
Leni too posted some images, but their promotional activity for the Italian label sparked a Twitter debate. While some called the shoot “strange” and “weird” to do with family, others defended the duo saying models have promoted underwear for long.
A few comments deemed the campaign “wrong” and causing “no feeling”, to which counter comments praised the “BEAUTIFUL” pictures of the “two beautiful ladies”.
Klum, 51, and Leni had previously partnered with Intimissimi in October-November last year for holiday ads.
The public disagreement over appropriate content in family-brand collaborations continues as the mother-daughter stars stay silent over the polarising reaction.
