Unexpectedly, social media influencer Sufi Motiwala crossed paths with television actress Urfi Javed, and the two became involved in an online fight. The episode began when Urfi posted a screenshot of what she thought was a disgusting message sent to her from Sufi’s number.
From the news, there are several ideations about the problem; initially, Sufis who make fun of fashion and lifestyle probably commented on a shoutout from Orry Awatramani to Urfi for her dressing. Urfi reposted the compliment, but the nasty comment allegedly made by Sufi provoked the actress’s anger.
Urfi went to her Instagram stories without wasting time, where she posted a screenshot of Sufi’s comment and shaded him. She also said that Sufi would come up with stories that his or, rather, his social account was hacked, and as expected, it happened.
Forcing the last ounce out of him, Sufi shared the conversation with Urfi and requested her to believe that he still could not access his account, so he got it unlocked at the last moment. Here are some messages initiating communication: “Uorfi, please pick up my call, I genuinely haven’t sent this, I beg of you, I have no ill intent towards you, Please Uorfi, I don’t even use such language, I just logged back into my account. ”
However, Urfi did not buy Sufi’s argument and retaliated that his account was back online in a snap and that he might be forwarding the messages to one of his friends who sent them to her mistakenly. I had said, ‘Koi id hack nahi hui hai iski, 2 min mein id wapas mil gayi (His ID was not hacked, how did he get it back in two minutes),’ to which Urfi responded.
The war of words has since elicited assaults on social media, with many users questioning Sufi for the alleged messages from his account and appreciating Urfi for not taking the comments lightly and allowing them to slide.
It reminds us of the integrated and sometimes solitary hazards of social media relations, especially when influential people are involved.
