Jigra teaser starring Alia Bhatt impresses celebrities.
The teaser of Alia Bhatt’s upcoming action drama ‘Jigra’ is out and has left viewers impressed. The film is slated to release on October 11, 2024.
In her Instagram story, Janhvi Kapoor shared the teaser saying she cannot wait to watch the film. Arjun Kapoor praised the “well-cut teaser” for its emotion, intensity and grit.
Sharvari Wagh too expressed excitement to witness Alia’s “smashing” performance in theatres.
The teaser provides a glimpse into Alia’s intense character who is seen having drinks and later trying to get her arrested brother Vedang Raina released.
It also shows her facing goons and engaging in action scenes and fighting sequences. Last year while speaking about ‘Jigra’, Alia had described it as a story of courage, passion, and determination.
Reports state the actress underwent extensive basketball training for scenes involving the sport in the film. She was assigned a coach to learn dribbling, passing, and scoring skills.
‘Jigra’ is Alia’s second production after ‘Darlings’ which was also well-received. With the teaser impressing celebrities, audiences await the film’s release on October 11.
