Actress Janhvi Kapoor has adopted a new page of life, sharing lovely posts on Instagram that speak volumes about the recent adoption of a pet. Over the weekend, she put up multiple snaps featuring a white canine, brimming with smiles and warmth.
In the photos, Janhvi is spotted holding the dog in her arms, playing and embracing it, all while wearing a chic white outfit. The actress had captioned the post, “Excited for new beginnings,” with two heart emojis. She added further the hashtags #LoveThatStays and #LoveTc, and also a winking playful emoji.

On the professional front, Janhvi is set to appear alongside Ram Charan in the much-anticipated film titled Peddi. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film also features prominent actors like Shiva Raj Kumar and Jagapathi Babu. Produced under Sukumar’s banner, the movie promises an engaging storyline, with music by Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman.
Moreover, Janhvi will appear in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, to be directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced under Karan Johar’s banner Dharma Productions. The film, starring Varun Dhawan, is ready for a theatre release on September 12 and also boasts an impressive supporting cast, including Sanya Malhotra and Maniesh Paul.
In a major success, Janhvi’s recent venture, Homebound, which is directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and also features Ishaan Khatter in the lead role, has been officially selected to screen at the 78th Cannes Film Festival. The film will be featured in the Un Certain Regard section, renowned for showcasing artistic cinema from all over the world. The festival will be held from May 13 to May 24.
