With her latest film ‘Mr & Mrs. Mahi’ on its way to hit the screens, preparations and hard work for the role in the movie are not left unnoticed by the stunning diva Janhvi Kapoor.
During the promotions of ‘Dhadak,’ Janhvi traveled to almost all parts of the country. She shared a sneak peek of how she got trained to play the character of Mahima as a professional cricket player.
The video not only captures Janhvi’s passion and hard work but also reveals her rigorous training and dedication in detail, including 150+ days of training, 30 days of the shoot, and 2 injuries sustained.
It focuses on showing the audience the cricket fervor of the fans and the actress in cricket attire handling a bat, jumping between the wickets, and getting bowled; she injures her shoulder in the process.
Recently, in a behind-the-scenes video, while giving some details of the shooting, the director Sharan Sharma stated that Janhvi was diagnosed with ‘multidirectional instability’ (MDI), which is a condition that resulted in her suffering an injury in both shoulders within two months.
Nonetheless, the appetite that the lady acting had established was properly fed through intense training that she underwent guided by the cricket trainer Abhishek Nayar, who commended her that he had not seen anyone prepare herself for modeling as hard as preparing for an IPL if not harder.
This is why it is exciting for fans to wait and watch the results of Janhvi’s dedication to her performance in Mr & Mrs Mahi and other films, which will be released on 31 May.
