Justin Bieber took a moment to post a powerful message about his faith via Instagram, and fans have certainly taken notice as his former best friend Sean “Diddy” Combs remains under a cloud of serious criminal charges for sexual assault and sex trafficking.
In a post on Saturday, the 30-year-old singer asked his followers rhetorically, “How can I believe Jesus is with me?” He then concluded with a personal affirmation of sorts when he added, “Well, for me, it’s just his goodness that keeps convincing me.”
This comes amidst speculations that Bieber has been struggling with his mental health, especially in light of the disturbing allegations against Combs. Sources had previously spilled that Bieber felt “completely disgusted” by the unfolding scandals and was in a “hard place mentally” due to his past association with the Bad Boy Records founder.
Sources say Bieber has also been advised to keep public distance with Combs to protect and keep himself safe. But it’s being noted that the singer seems more grounded by the positive sides in life, especially after this year when his son, Jack Blues was born.
A source close to Bieber emphasized his eagerness to be past whatever history he had with Combs and is just not bothering to “let his happiness being a dad has outweigh his anxiety about Diddy.” Earlier this month Bieber looked devastated leaving celebrity haunt Chateau Marmont. The emotional, inner turmoil over the situation was palpable.
Meanwhile, P Diddy continues to amass legal troubles; upwards of more than 30 active civil lawsuits and federal racketeering conspiracy charges against him. The new lawsuit, according to Rolling Stone, is on behalf of a former assistant alleging he was forced to coordinate drug-fueled parties and engage in demeaning acts to show his loyalty to the music mogul.
