In a sweet news update, beloved Bollywood Director Karan Johar has announced the return of his popular Koffee with Karan show, and KWK fans can look forward to a new season airing in 2025.
The enjoyable and entertaining series that always gave its viewers hope for lots of fun, honesty, and inspiring conversation will return soon. Hearing it from the horse’s mouth, Johar recently spoke about the ill of the show stating that the team is going on a one-year sabbatical and the show will be brought back with new conception in the next year.
This SNL-like conversation continued until I was like, ‘Why am I even doing this?’ You’re not giving me questions. They had stopped the rapid fire. Where is the hamper?, no one deserves to win it to me. Now I’m like, let’s change the world of Koffee with Karan with the ninth season.
In their comments during the previous season, the viewers claimed that Round the Clock had been “the most boring. This has compelled the team to change the format of the show in a bid to offer the audience a more interesting show as they proceed to the new season.
Johar also discusses the shift in approach in celebrity interviews, pointing out that some celebrities have been tamer in their answers. They are mostly nice, but given the way that Bhatt Sahab is, he would still be giving answers like those to me; hahaha, if I called him and I got these answers, why didn’t I edit? he jokingly continued referring to the blunt answers he received from previous celebrity guests.
Viewers of the show have to wait for a new megastar season as Koffee With Karan continues to be a pot of gossip and share behind-the-scenes gist about Bollywood celebrities.
