Kareena Kapoor urges privacy as Saif Ali Khan recovers in hospital

Saif Ali Khan is currently recuperating at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after multiple surgeries due to a serious accident. While he is working on getting better, a recent paparazzi video captured the chaos outside his home and has stopped Kareena Kapoor from taking it lightly, causing her to speak out against the invasion.

On Monday, Kapoor posted a video on Instagram stating that paparazzi are capturing pictures of her and Saif’s house. It was at her house where people were seen moving in lots of toy cars. She vented her anger stating, “Stop this now. Have a heart. Leave us alone, for God’s sake.” The post was deleted soon after.

Saif, the film star, was admitted to a local hospital on Thursday morning after suffering injuries from an intruder who allegedly attempted theft at their home. The actor suffered multiple injuries; one near the spine and another on his neck. According to medical professionals, however, Saif is said to be out of danger and recovering well after several surgeries.

Although he is getting better, his discharge from the hospital has been put on hold. Media persons quoted Dr. Nitin Dange that Saif would be kept under observation for one more day, after which a decision for his discharge is expected within a day or two.

She had called for privacy from the incident by emphasizing the emotional toll that it has caused for their family in the past. She posted on her Instagram account, “It has been an extremely challenging day for our family and we are still coming to terms with what has happened. As we work to navigate through this time, I respectfully and humbly request the media and paparazzi to refrain from relentless speculation and coverage.”

She further went on to say, “While we appreciate your concern and support, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also a threat to our safety. I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family.
