Several Bollywood celebrities, such as Akshay Kumar and Chris Martin, have also reached the Maha Kumbh 2025, among the sea of devotees. Actor Katrina Kaif became one of the celebrities at the current Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, with her mother-in-law, Veena Kaushal. According to the actor, she felt lucky enough to attend the meal.
Katrina was seen on Monday at the Parmarth Niketan, where she received blessings from spiritual gurus Swami Chidanand Saraswati and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati. Katrina wore a beautiful ethnic outfit, dressing up in a gorgeous powder pink suit that perfectly suited her graceful demeanour. Her mother-in-law also wore a blue suit.
The visit proved to be an unforgettable moment of bonding between Katrina and her mother-in-law as they drenched themselves in the spiritual atmosphere of the Maha Kumbh.
Speaking to ANI, Katrina stated, “I am very lucky that I was able to come here this time. I am truly happy and grateful. I got to meet Swami Chidanand Saraswati and take his blessings. I am just beginning my experience here. I enjoy the energy the beauty and the meaning of everything. I am eager to spend the entire day here”.
Mahakumbh Mela commenced on January 13, 2025, in Prayagraj of Uttar Pradesh and will run till February 26. Many devotees have congregated at the Triveni Sangam—the meeting point of the Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers—to undertake the holy dip, aiming at spiritual purification and ‘Moksha’.
A host of Bollywood celebrities, including Chris Martin and Akshay Kumar, have descended upon the Maha Kumbh 2025, along with the hordes of pilgrims and spiritualists. Previously, Katrina’s husband Vicky Kaushal too visited the mela while marketing his film, Chhaava, which is going great at the box office. Other celebrities who have visited the gathering include names like Esha Gupta, Vijay Deverakonda and Hema Malini.
