Leading lady Kiara Advani made the perfect Cannes Film Festival debut, attending the Women in Cinema Gala dinner. In a viral video, the actor is seen elegantly in a pink satin gown with black gloves and Bulgari jewels as she addresses the illustrious gathering.
Expressing her gratitude towards being at the French Riveria for her maiden appearance, Kiara said she was grateful to the Red Sea Film Foundation for supporting women in the entertainment industry over the years. But the Bollywood celebrity saved a special mention for her ‘fan moment,’ American star Eva Longoria, who was also present.
However, Kiara did not forget to pay tribute to the resilient women creators who have paved the way for the new generation of artists like herself. She thanked the risk-takers and determination of these powerful figures that made it easier for her and others to pursue their dreams and succeed on their terms.
The actor’s appreciation for the guest of honor, Longoria, and women filmmakers at large struck a chord. On the work front, Kiara will share screen space with Tollywood star Ram Charan in Game Changer. She also has Don 3 and War 2 lined up, amongst other prominent projects. Kiara’s mesmerizing appearance has certainly been the talking point from her memorable red carpet walk at Cannes.
