Kusha Kapila praises ‘Life Aur Loos Gayi’ for humanizing her character

Popular actress and content creator Kusha Kapila seems to have echoed a similar opinion regarding her character Kalki in the upcoming web series “Life Aur Loos Gayi,” emphasizing how the writers and directors manage to make the South Delhi girl blinded by luxury and privilege humanely.

Kusha, who has been producing content since 2017 but went independent as a content creator in 2019, noted that she was pleased with the level assigned to her character, which she said was more complex than the caricature roles she has portrayed in her widely watched social media comedies.

“I don’t believe that we fully humanized them within the short sketches, but when you have to represent a person on screen, you can’t be as caricaturish as you can be in reels,” Kusha added. It is not about what I have done, but the directors and writers needed to care about these characters, their past, and present, and be allowed for interesting redemption while being funny and deep at the same time.

Shooting of Life Aur Loos Gayi was directed by Preem Mistry and scripted by Jasjeet Singh Bhatia; the film stars Divyenndu, Vinay Pathak & Mukti Mohan, Kabir Bedi & Bhagyashree, Aditi Govitrikar.

Kusha entered the television industry in 2014; however, she did not gain much fame until 2020, when she landed on the show Ghost Stories. She also acted in movies like Plan A, Plan B, Sukhee, and Thank You For Coming.

Kusha Kapila’s fans and those interested in privilege, human nature, and trivia will be able to watch “Life Aur Loos Gayi” on Disney+ Hotstar this August 9.
