Malaika Arora’s father passes away, and ex-husband Arbaaz visits the family.
Actor Malaika Arora‘s father passed away on Wednesday morning in Mumbai, reported ANI quoting police. He was 62.
Mumbai Police said they received information that he died by suicide after jumping off a building. They are investigating the incident.
Earlier, a source told PTI it was an accidental fall and not suicide as he had no known illnesses. Mumbai Police later stated they were probing all angles but prima facie it looked like suicide.
Malaika’s ex-husband Arbaaz Khan was seen arriving at her family’s residence, where Police and media personnel were stationed.
Malaika and sister Amrita’s parents divorced when they were young and they were raised by their mother Joyce. Amrita is married with kids while Malaika was married to Arbaaz for 19 years before divorcing in 2017.
Malaika had spoken about being independent after her parents’ separation and how it shaped her. The exact circumstances surrounding Malaika Arora’s father’s demise are still being investigated by authorities.
