How Mallika Sherawat came on board Raaj Shaandilyaa’s ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.’
The Upcoming romantic comedy ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri has garnered attention thanks to its entertaining trailer and cast members.
Director Raaj Shaandilyaa has now revealed how he roped in Mallika Sherawat, who was seen after a gap, for a crucial role in the 90s-set movie.
In an interview, Shaandilyaa said the part was conceptualized with Sherawat in mind though she initially presumed it was a dance number.
However, upon learning it was a specially crafted character, Sherawat liked the script and gave her nod immediately.
The filmmaker also stated the actress didn’t need convincing and said she was impressed by her character and eager to board the project.
As per the trailer, the film follows a newly married couple whose wedding video CD goes missing, landing them in comical troubles.
Apart from the leads, ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ stars Vijay Raaz, Archana Puran Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, and others in pivotal roles.
