Manisha Koirala meets UK PM Rishi Sunak, invites him to Everest trek

Popular Indian film star Manisha Koirala recently had the privilege of meeting with the current British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, at 10 Downing Street, the official residence.

It was organized to mark ‘ the 100 years of the friendship treaty’ signed with the UK, where Koirala represented her country. The actress posed with Sunak in several pictures, which she posted on Instagram. They were clicked when she was dressed in a black and gold saree.

In her caption, Koirala revealed how amazed she was that almost everyone in the hall had recently binged-watched her latest web series ‘Heeramandi’ on Netflix. One wrote, “It was completely shocking for me that most of the attendees of the drama had watched Heeramandi on Netflix, and they all enjoyed it; I was overjoyed,”

The latter even personally invited the Prime Minister to come with his family for a hike to Everest Base Camp, where the actress expressed pride in Nepal’s environmentally magnificent country.

Heeramandi, a period drama by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is garnering praise from its fanbase and celebrities for its risqué excitement and its cast—Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Sharmin Segal.
