Minahil Malik goes viral again with dance video on TikTok

Pakistani TikTok sensation Minahil Malik is again being discussed on social media, this time because of a dance video she posted in August. The clip, featuring Malik dancing vibrantly to Megan Thee Stallion’s track, has piqued everyone’s interest, racking up views at over 4.1 million. The video was simply captioned with “because it’s trending,” plus a heart emoticon.

The video created an overwhelming craze among viewers after they even searched for “Pakistani TikTok Viral Video,” especially from Indian states like Bihar, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Haryana. Malik dances in the video with blue jeans and a black top, wearing classy black shades.

With October came the leaking of intimate moments of Malik with her boyfriend, and Malik rose to viral status once again. While some suspected it was a publicity stunt, all calculation and nothing but it, the vulnerable side of Malik at this challenging moment went on to win hearts.

Pakistani actor Mishi Khan lambasted the leaked video, saying Malik had “gone this low for fame.” Khan made the comments but didn’t mention Malik’s name or the controversy that the said remarks were ascribed against Malik. In a video statement, Khan criticized the explicit nature of the situation by bringing a scene from the Indian Bollywood film “Heroine,” where the lead actress Kareena Kapoor Khan leaked an intimate clip for publicity.

“Shameful to see these influencers stooping to the lowest level for fame and disgracing their families, parents, and society. They should be banned from using social media,” Khan stated in her caption.

Following the mixed reactions online, Malik issued a heartfelt statement on Instagram: “It wasn’t easy for me, but I’m done. It’s hard to say goodbye. No fights. Spread love. I’m leaving. I will miss you. I love you. Take care.” Of course, this post remains her last on the platform, and she has subsequently backed off social media.
