Youtuber MrBeast, or James Stephen Donaldson, has finally arrived in India, along with his other popular influencer friends, wrestler Logan Paul and musician JJ ‘KSI.’ The group arrived in the wee hours of Sunday morning and soon captured the headlines as they boarded an auto rickshaw to head to an event on the ground. The surprise gesture sent fans and onlookers into a tizzy.
In paparazzi videos, MrBeast was energetic, getting ready for the car ride, mingling with fans, and promoting his Feastables chocolate bar, which was launched in India on the same day along with the energy drink Prime. “How’s it going?” he playfully asked the photographers and fans around him.
JJ went for a ride and gave his followers a sneak peek on his Instagram stories as the heavily guarded auto made its way through the busy streets of Mumbai. He also waved at the sea of people excited to see him and referred to the whole scene as ‘crazy’. Meanwhile, JJ performed his song “Thick of It” at an event for the product launch to a thrilled audience.
Fans mobbed him for selfies, and MrBeast posted videos on his Instagram stories showing the rousing welcome he received. “India, you guys rock,” he is heard saying in one video clip. In another, fans are scrambling to get their hands on the Feastables bar.
While leaving the venue itself, MrBeast captured on camera how the crowd was still thronging to click selfies with him. The YouTuber looked grateful but also worried about the safety of his fans. “Look at all these people, I feel bad, I wish I could… nice to meet you all. How long are you guys going to follow my car? My security in the back seat is freaking out,” he said, adding, “Guys don’t do this,” as some fans dashed into the traffic for a glimpse.
MrBeast, Logan Paul, JJ ‘KSI,’ and Darren IShowSpeed are visiting India to create a stir amongst fans and the media for promoting the Feastables Chocolate Bar and Prime Energy Drink.
