Navya Naveli on handling social media trolls.

Navya Naveli Nanda: Since joining IIM Ahmedabad, there have been constant skirmishes about social media trolls, and she stressed constructive feedback.

Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, has opened up about how she tackles trolls on social media after being admitted to the elite IIM Ahmedabad.

She was speaking at the India Today Mumbai Conclave 2024 on Thursday, September 26, where she appreciated the opportunities that come with social media when realizing the challenges that come with it.

“Social media has been a great platform because it’s given a lot of people a voice, a lot of people who earlier may not have had that kind of reach,” said Navya in a session titled, ‘Beyond the Legacy: Gen Z for a Just and Equal India.’

She emphasized that social media has the potential to bring about change. “I think it’s a great place for me as an individual to put my work out there. It’s been a great tool that, if used correctly, has much potential to bring about a change,” she added.

Reflecting on her educational experience, Navya said she felt blessed to be at IIM Ahmedabad. “India has some of the finest institutions in the world, and being a part of the IIM Ahmedabad is incredible.

I feel blessed to receive higher education under the guidance of some of the finest professors worldwide,” she remarked.

How’s Navya Naveli doing at IIM-A? What does the life of a social entrepreneur look like? Listen in.
