In a video posted on her Instagram, Dobrev stated that she had been “sick to [her] stomach” witnessing the “destruction and devastation” caused by the fires, which have displaced countless families.

The actress confessed to experiencing a sense of “survivor’s guilt,” grappling with the realization that she escaped unharmed while others were not as lucky.

Dobrev used her platform to encourage her followers to provide financial assistance to the victims, particularly those in the Pacific Palisades and Altadena-Pasadena communities, which have been hit the hardest. She emphasized that what these communities need most right now is aid to help them rebuild their lives and homes.

The actress is not the only celebrity who has stepped up to support the victims of the LA wildfires. Pop superstar Taylor Swift revealed that she had made an undisclosed donation to relief efforts and urged her fans to do the same, highlighting the critical need for assistance during these challenging times.

The wildfires have ravaged over 15,000 acres in the Pacific Palisades and Malibu regions, while the Eaton fire in Altadena has burned through more than 10,000 acres.

The estimated cost of the damage to Los Angeles is staggering, reaching an estimated $250 billion and continuing to rise.
