The actress was captured on camera asking the female volunteers to take off her shoes for a moment, and the internet didn’t appreciate her gesture. It is to be noted that the event was organized to mark International Yoga Day.
Nushratt Bharuccha was recently on the radar of netizens as a video clip of hers from an International Yoga Day function went viral online, which was organized on the 21st of June in 2025.
Nushratt wore white sweatpants with an accompanying jacket and a blush pink-coloured top inside. She glamorized herself with light makeup with a rosy glow on her cheeks and lips. She had her hair half pulled up in a high ponytail.
The event was organized to publicize yoga for physical health and mindfulness. But during several videos, one featured an uncomfortable moment between Nushratt and her team. In a viral clip, Nushratt was placing her hand on one of her team members’ shoulders and another female volunteer had been seen loosening her shoelaces.
Following that, Nushratt hurriedly stepped aside and requested another volunteer to loosen her second shoe. The volunteer promptly squats to assist her with the shoelaces. The video, however, became highly sought after, and netizens condemned Nushratt for what she did.
