Preity Zinta’s comment on Shah Rukh Khan stirs controversy.
An old interview clip of Bollywood actor Preity Zinta referring to Shah Rukh Khan‘s interactions with “unattractive women” at stage shows has resurfaced and caused a debate.
During the interview, Preity wonders why SRK often called less “beautiful” ladies on stage. But Khan swiftly replies that he find all women to be “beautiful, gentle, soft, pretty” regardless of looks.
The viral Reddit thread saw users criticize Preity for passing judgment on others’ appearances. One said SRK would never consider physical parameters and only wanted to fulfill eager fans’ wishes.
Another commented questioning who gave her power to decide attractiveness. Preity and SRK have worked together in multiple hits like ‘Dil Se’, ‘KHN’ where she said he keeps co-actors on their toes with talent and competitiveness.
In a past AMA, when asked on doing another film together, Preity said they need a script that only the two of them can pull off.
While Khan is known for inclusively interacting with all fans, the resurfaced interview segment has ignited polarizing reactions online over its choice of words used years ago.
