Global star Priyanka Chopra shared a mirror selfie on Instagram wearing a vintage t-shirt gifted by her friend Anushka Sharma years ago.
The black tee carried prints of popular comic character Chacha Chaudhary and his expressions, which Priyanka mentioned she still loves.
Created in 1971, Chacha and his super-strong friend Sabu from Jupiter were featured in the Hindi magazine Lotpot solving puzzles.
Priyanka and Anushka had co-starred in Zoya Akhtar’s acclaimed 2015 ensemble film Dil Dhadakne Do. It followed a Punjabi family’s dysfunctional cruise trip for the parents’ 30th wedding anniversary aboard a ship.
The cast included Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Farhan Akhtar, and Rahul Bose among others. While their on-screen camaraderie was praised, the friendly off-screen bond between the actresses continues.
Priyanka currently has Hollywood films like Heads of State and The Bluff, where she plays a female pirate, in the pipeline.
