The splendid Antilia, the house of the Ambani family in Mumbai, recently lurched in colors, joy, and gladness as it revolved around an amazing haldi ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
If there was ever anyone who radiated glamour and sophistication, it was the bride-to-be Radhika Merchant. She looked absolutely stunning in yellow, which made her look like a dream come true, designed by the noted fashion stylist Rhea Kapoor. Her outfit by acclaimed designer Anamika Khanna was a nerve-wracking yellow embroidered lehenga, which could add style to modern Indian attire.
The real beauty, much to everyone’s surprise, was the Selena Flowers Floral Art design studio, which created a floral dupatta that adorned Radhika. Along with more than 90 genda flowers and hundreds of tagar kalis stitched individually, the floral design on the dupatta was like a jaal, giving the illusion of a cascading beauty of eternity.
This is how Rhea and Radhika decided that they needed Floral Art founder Srishti Kapur’s gorgeous creations; given the magnitude of the material used, Kapur and her team of artisans require an entire night to breathe life into the apparel.
Adding to the flowery look, the jewelry set that accompanied Radhika consisted of earrings, a tassel string set into the top, double necklaces, a hand ‘flower’, and kaleeras made from fresh white tagar kalis, the yellow button daisy, and the Thai rui flower.
Radhika’s outfit is managed by Rhea Kapoor, the stylist; she posted several photos on her Instagram account, captioning the beautiful bride-to-be as luminous.
During the haldi ceremony, many celebrities from the Bollywood fraternity were guests; these include Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina, Manushi Chhillar, Boney Kapoor, Udit Narayan, Rahul Vaidya, and Arjun Kapoor.
On the occasion of this happy event, the Ambani family and their numerous guests responded only to the beautiful Radhika Merchant and her long-awaited marriage to Anant Ambani.
