The lovebirds, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa, have sent the mass into an overdrive with a latest social media post, hinting at something “very special” on the cards. The lovebirds shared an intriguing picture that came with a cryptic caption, and all hell has broken loose with rumoured speculations of a collaboration, if not their first baby.
The couple posted on their Instagram, “Something special is brewing. Can’t wait to share it with you all. Stay tuned!” While they have clarified that parenthood is not in the near future, fans are still keeping their fingers crossed for the big announcement. One user commented, “They must be having a child,” while another said, “Gonna be parents.”.
Rajkummar and Patralekhaa have earlier enthralled the audience with their crackling chemistry in Citylights, thus adding to the oomph factor of their latest announcement.
On the work front, Rajkummar Rao last featured in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video that barely helped at the box office. Presently, he is shooting for his Maalik, which Pulkit directs. For a film like this, it would be a considerable career changeover for Rao since he will portray a gangster in this action thriller. Recently, he even put up the poster of the film in which he could be seen sitting on top of a jeep, holding an AK-47 with a queue of trucks standing behind him.
He gave an update from the sets as he wrote, “#Maalik ki duniya mein aapka swagat hai. Shoot shuru ho chuka hai, jald hi mulaqat hogi!” The film promises an intense and long shooting schedule across locations in India.
Rajkummar, who made his Hindi film debut in 2010, has done more than 30 films and won several awards, including a National Award. Starting from Love Sex Aur Dhokha, he had films like Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 2 and Talaash: The Answer Lies Within. Then came Kai Po Che! and Shahid in 2013. Further, he did films like Queen, Aligarh, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Trapped, Newton, The White Tiger, Ludo, Monica, O My Darling, Badhaai Do, and Stree 2.
